I assume they were made before the Erin Featherstone event.
In my
opinion these are private candids taken by a friend – see the
date stamps and red eyes? Those are typical for small autofocus
cameras and not for a professional papparazzi camera...
If this
friend has leaked this pics into the public to gain money – or
if these were staged has not yet transpired...

Some new pics from the JTL event 2004 – recent news indicates that JTL is really a women. In my opinion this doesn't dimish the work. Especially in sci-fi women often took short abbreviations of their names not to not reveal that they're woman – at least on the cover. On Star Trek I know about current writers J.M. Dillard and S.D. Perry...
