Story:
Looking for Richard is not a movie version of Sheakespeare's play "Richard III". This is only one part of the movie. The storyline of "Richard III" is interrupted regulary and the actors are explaining the play to the viewer.
My Opinion:
This movie is ideal if you want to start with Sheakespeare without digging through dry multi-hundred pages long commented plays.
The actors are explaining Sheakespeare in a light and easy to understand way.
Winona's scene is only about ten minutes long, but she performs great as Lady Anne. As Al Pacino said: "I want a really young woman to play Lady Anne....But she has to be old enough to really understand the play"
Next to the all-star cast this movie includes cameos by such great actors as: F. Murray Abraham, Kenneth Branagh, Kevin Kline, James Earl Jones, John Gielgud and Vanessa Redgrave.
