The Story:
A Night on Earth: Five Taxis driving through the night...
L.A., New York, Paris, Rome and Helsinki...
In L.A. Cab driver Corky takes on casting-agent Victoria. Corky smokes too much, chews chewing gum all the time, drives a really old cab and has definetly to work on her manners...but she's a loveable person with little dreams...
On the way up to Beverly Hills they began to talk about life, future goals and love...
In the end Victoria offers Corky a role in big Hollywood movie, but corky rejects...
My Opinion:
The whole movie is marvelous. Noni is great like the whole cast...
Armin Müller-Stahl as clown and wanna-be cab driver in New York...
In Paris the taxi driver reflects on sights and feelings with his blind passenger...
Roberto Benigni as high-spirited italian who comes up with a killing confession...
And in Helsinki taksi driver Mika tells his passengers his sad story...
