Lily is the story of a claustrophobic young woman (Winona Ryder) who lives with her vertiginous mother (Linda Bassett) and falls in love with a nursery owner's assistant (Gael Garcia Bernal) when she finds romance through gardening, secretly planting a garden in a central square.

Sadly Winona dropped out of this promising sounding movie due to a painful stomach disorder. With her leaving the movie was cancelled.
