The Story:

1956: Jerry Lee Lewis settles in Memphis, Tennesee, to get more famous than the King of Rock, Elvis.

Playing his hits on a piano he easily soars by Elvis and becomes one of the most famous musicians of his time...highlited by his all-time hit "Great Balls Of Fire".

But as he marries his 13 year old cousin Myra his fans are shocked and his star is falling as fast as it has risen...

My Opinion:

Great filmography about Jerry Lee...based on the book by Myra Gale Lewis. It feels like time-traveling back to the 50s...great music: all songs were new digitally recorded for this movie. Performed by "The Killer" himself, great cars: I like the time where every car was unique and great atmosphere.

The producers assembled a great all-star cast. Dennis Quaid is giving one of his best performances as Jerry Lee and Alec Baldwin as somewhat crazy preacher...

Winona is absolutely adorable as Myra...

And IMO she's really sexy in this movie...especially in the dance/music scenes...but Noni is always great when dancing...just remember the last scenes from Beetlejuice and Mermaids...
